Week 11

Final Project and Thesis week 11: 8th to 14th November

This week I looked at the scenes I have done so far in unity.


All of them can be considered WIP as I go about improving them/adding things to them.

I also realised here that I had done it all under unity 3D and not high definition render pipeline- as when I first started out I wanted to practice first in 3D rather than high definition but then forgot that it was set to 3D as I went about making my scenes. I tried to change all scenes (the whole) project to HDPbut unfortunately, it turned my game objects pink so I had to leave that idea and work on the project as a 3D project.

Anyway, the 4 scenes and the WIP of them-

One of my feedbacks on the previous version of my pub from Herman was that it was too crowded and looked more like a restaurant so I made the space more, well spacious. I have also constructed a much bigger bar for it and spread out the tables a lot more.
Here I wanted to mention, I tried out a dungeon level making system in unity which generates different dungeon (though in my case it’s the sewer). It lets you customise the wall, floor, doors and props, and much more using a node system and can also let you program it so that each time someone plays a game, the levels change (as shown above on example). If this is not too heavy for VR, I would like to try this out as part of my game.
